Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc is seeking a full-time Bar Attendant to join our Restaurant & Bar team in Perth, WA. You’ll work across Ascua, Heno & Rey, and Loft Lounge & Bar, delivering wine-forward service and guest experiences that exceed expectations.

You will assist with stock, upsell promotions, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth dining experiences. RSA certification, strong communication, and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year proven experience in bar work in a busy restaurant or bar.
• Exceptional customer service and guest interaction skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and guest-focused.
• Knowledge of wines, beers and spirits.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
• Flexible with evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Have the legal right to work in Australia without restrictions.
• Hold a current RSA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work across two bar areas according to business needs.
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and upsell promotions.
• Create a warm welcome for every guest and set the tone of their experience.
• Own the bar: manage stock, inventory and equipment; keep the area clean.
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently.
• Collaborate with restaurant team to deliver seamless service.
• Ensure proper storage of food/bev and minimise waste.
