Job summary

Accor Darwin is seeking a Full-Time Banquet Manager to oversee banquets, events and conferencing at Darwin Airport Resorts. You will work on site, coordinating setup, staffing, and service to deliver exceptional experiences for guests and clients.

The role requires proven banquet/event leadership, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. RSA certification and beverage knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in banquet or event management within a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events to ensure seamless delivery.
• Lead, train, and supervise banquet and F&B staff to maintain high service standards and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event planning teams to ensure client requirements and timelines are met.
• Familiarise yourself with BEOs to ensure customer expectations and exceptional experiences.
