Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Risk and Compliance team in Adelaide. You will provide regulatory advice, support incidents and reporting, and help enhance our Compliance Framework.

The role offers exposure to governance, policy development and practical compliance solutions across the bank. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, interpret complex legislation, support regulatory change initiatives and drive continuous improvement to

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services compliance, risk, audit or regulatory advisory.
• Ability to interpret legislation and provide clear, practical advice to support business decision-making.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, privacy, corporates and prudential requirements.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to identify trends and assess risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualifications in law, compliance, business, audit or related discipline are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance to help the business meet regulatory obligations.
• Analyse and interpret legislation, prudential standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements relevant to the Bank.
• Partner with project and business teams to support regulatory change initiatives, strategic projects and improvements.
• Assist with the management of compliance incidents, including investigations, regulatory assessment, remediation and reporting.
• Support ongoing enhancement of the Bank's Compliance Framework, policies, procedures and governance practices.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation to promote compliance awareness and a positive risk culture.
