Job summary

Agincare is seeking Bank Support Workers for Children's Residential Homes in Wimborne. Earn up to £15.50 per hour, including £14.50 for unqualified staff. Flexible shifts, including sleep-ins, help shape a not‑for‑profit service supporting children with complex needs. Training provided.

Role focuses on building trust with children, supporting routines, teaching life skills, and collaborative care planning within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, positive relationships with children and young people.

• Work as part of a team to ensure children feel safe, secure and cared for.
• Support with care plans, routines and risk assessments (with training).
• Handle challenging behaviour calmly and with empathy using a therapeutic approach.
