Job summary

Agincare is recruiting for a Bank Support Worker in a Children's Residential Home in Wimborne. You’ll support children with complex needs, helping with daily routines, safety, and emotional wellbeing. Training is provided, and shifts include day, night, and sleep-ins as needed.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and a caring, team‑spirited approach. NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and a driving licence are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated care for children with complex needs.
• Willingness to complete NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Driving to and between sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Support daily routines from school to bedtime.
• Help children learn life skills and independence.
• Work as part of a team to keep children safe and cared for.
• Handle challenging behaviour with empathy and a therapeutic approach.
