Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a seasoned Bank Manager for our Albury, NSW branch. You will head a frontline team, drive exceptional customer service, and ensure risk, financial and operational accountability while delivering growth and a superior customer experience.

You will recruit, coach, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets and uphold Westpac’s standards across a community-focused branch. The role is full-time, with hours Mon–Fri 8:30am–4:30pm.

Rare opportunity for a seasoned Leader in Banking to drive the success of Westpac’s Albury, NSW Branch!

As a Bank Manager, you'll be the head and heart of a frontline banking team that loves to exceed the expectations of local customers, whilst playing a hands‑on role in a community you're proud to call your own.

Inspiring a team of customer service, sales and business specialists, you’ll set the standard for the Westpac Group experience – and it'll be an exceptional experience at that! You’ll be the driving force behind your branch’s success – holding financial, risk and operational accountability – ensuring customer advocacy is at the heart of all you and your team do.You will recruit, coach and elevate your team to deliver a superior banking experience, ultimately contributing to the branch's, and our customers’, success.

This is a full-time, branch-based role and the hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

What will I need?

• Strong leadership experience, ideally gained in a Retail Banking environment (preferred, not essential)
• Proven experience of holding accountability for risk and compliance, staff performance and customer experience
• High-energy, with an ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
• Experience of working to fulfil business performance targets and spur growth
• Ability to effectively de-escalateand address challenging situations by using strong communicationand problem-solvingskills
