Job summary

St John of God Ballarat Hospital in Ballarat, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Chef to join the Catering Services team on a fixed-term contract until December 2028. The role covers the preparation, cooking and serving meals in line with Room Service menus, production schedules and food safety standards.

You will hold a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and complete Basic & Advanced Food Handling Courses; experience with al-carte service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Basic & Advanced Food Handling Courses.
• Experience in preparing and cooking food in line with production schedules and Food Safety Program.
• Preferred experience with Al-carte service.

Responsibilities
