Job summary

L'epi Bakery in Fyshwick ACT is seeking a Bakery counter host to join our locally owned artisan bakery team. You will be the face of the shop, greeting customers, serving at the counter and coffee station, and ensuring a warm, community-focused experience for every guest.

You will learn product knowledge, help with presentation of cakes and breads, and maintain hygiene and cleanliness throughout service. A stable roster and supportive team are offered with on-site work in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service in a retail or food environment
• Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
• Good communication and presentation

About the role

This position is for a Bakery counter host You will be the face of our bakery and a key part of creating the welcoming, community-focused experience we are known for. You will work closely with a passionate team to serve customers, prepare and present our products, and ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression of our bakery.

We are part of the Fyswick market so we offer stable roster and days off.

What you'll do

Greet customers first and create a warm experience.

Serve with speed and accuracy at the counter and coffee station.

Learn product knowledge and recommend the right item for the customer.

Keep the shop clean, organised, and stocked during service.

Support cabinet presentation (cakes/pies) and bread display standards.

Follow hygiene, allergen and safety routines.
