Drakes Sun Valley in Gladstone is seeking a motivated and hands-on bakery leader to join our team.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will manage a small team, create rosters, place orders and oversee stock takes, ensuring fresh, high-quality products and outstanding customer service.

This role offers onsite work, comprehensive on-the-job training, and a clear path to career progression within Australia’s largest independent supermarket.

Qualifications

Fresh food retail knowledge preferred but not essential.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Ability to order and control costs.
An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations.
Accurate team rostering.
Passion and enthusiasm with a hands-on approach.
Commitment to customer service.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to liaise with both team members and management.
A flair for merchandising and strong leadership.

About This Opportunity
