Job summary

Bread + Butter Group, Launceston bakery operations, invites an experienced baker to join our team. You will contribute to quality bread, pastries and coffee, working with Head Chef and venue teams across our bakery network.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
• Communicate with bakery team, Head Chef, venue managers, drivers and front-of-house staff.
• Follow company policies and recipes.
• Ensure high standard delivery of bakery range.
• Pack and prepare orders for wholesale customers and other venues.
• Assist with ordering and stock control.
• Adhere to HACCP procedures and fix equipment issues as needed.
• Collaborate to develop new products and improve offerings.
• Participate in training and uphold company mission and policies.

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified baker to join our team. We are very excited to offer this opportunity to jump on board and help grow our expanding team + business.

About the role

• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
• Participate in open communication with other bakery team members, the Head Chef, venue managers, delivery drivers and the front-of-house crew.
• Understand and comply with The Company policies.
• Follow recipes according to guidelines.
• Ensuring the delivery of our bakery range is to a high standard consistently.
• Pack and prepare orders for wholesale customers and our other venues.
• Assist with ordering and stock control.
• Adhere to HACCP procedures and practices.
• Communicate necessary repairs to equipment.
• Work collaboratively with our team to develop our new products and how we provide them.
• Learn all aspects of Bread + Butter Group operations, participate in company training programs, and implement and integrate our company policy and mission.
• To maintain product quality above all else, putting customer satisfaction over profit.
