Job summary

Mitti is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) team. You will deliver scoped backend services inside an architecture guided by Senior and Staff engineers, and deepen identity-domain expertise as the platform modernises.

You will work with Golang on the backend, OpenID Connect and SAML, AWS, Auth0 and Kafka for infrastructure, and PostgreSQL as the datastore. Join a global, equity-enabled team enabling frontline workers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Solid backend and scalable systems experience, with Golang preferred.
• Owns features end-to-end in a collaborative environment.
• Relational data modelling with PostgreSQL and safe migrations.
• Cloud experience with AWS, deploying and debugging in production.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts (APIs, retries, timeouts).
• Familiarity with authentication, SSO, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, or SAML.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services in a large-scale SaaS platform.
• Take ownership of features from inception to delivery with product/design/engineers.
• Build and maintain authentication and user lifecycle flows (signup/login/MFA/SSO).
• Contribute to migration of legacy identity services using feature flags and staged rollout.
• Treat security as core: handle credentials and tokens carefully.
• Participate in code review and engineering practice improvements.
• Make platform capabilities easy for other teams to consume.
