Job summary

Babies by the bay Cronulla invites an Early Childhood Educator or Trainee to join our small, family-owned centre in Cronulla. The successful candidate will bring genuine passion for early childhood education and hold an ACECQA approved Diploma or Cert 3 in Children’s Services, or be willing to obtain.

We are expandingour team and looking fora passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator or Trainee to join our dynamic team located at Cronulla.

Essential Criteria: As a successful applicant you must hold a (ACECQA approved)in Early Childhood education Diploma or Cert 3 Children's Services or willing to obtain.

• Genuine passiontowardsearly childhood education
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificationor willing to obtain
• Completed approved child protection training
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current Early Childhood theories and practice
• Demonstrated knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
• Experience delivering high quality and inclusive learning programs.
• Team leadership skills, including the ability to effectively mentor and supervise a team
• Strong commitment to your own professional learning
• Demonstrated commitment to child safety, safeguarding practices and upholding the principle that the wellbeing of children is paramount
