Job summary

Precisely is seeking a skilled Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support for Precisely Data Integration products, including Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway. The role requires analyzing complex problems, collaborating with customers, and leveraging AI tools to speed resolution.

You will work across UNIX/Linux environments, databases, and cloud services, while contributing to knowledge bases and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent work experience accepted).
• 2-5 years of experience in Technical Support or related customer-facing technical role.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator/Sterling File Gateway/Global Mailbox.
• UNIX/Linux experience (AIX, Red Hat EL, Solaris, HP-UX) and administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop.
• Meet SLA requirements and document critical information for stakeholders.
• Investigate and solve complex problems across platforms and databases.
• Determine if issues lie in product, third-party libraries, or user code.
• Create and share Knowledge Base documentation for customers and team members.
• Debug issues and propose solutions and tools for product improvements.
• Participate in periodic weekend on-call shifts.
