Job summary

Omni Executive in Caloundra, Australia, is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our Rotary Wing Maintenance Team. Based in Caloundra, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certification, and AOG defect rectification for our turbine helicopter fleet.

The role requires CASA B1.3 licence, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience using Aerotrack, CAMP or similar aviation maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, efficient maintenance delivery under the Senior Base Engineer.

B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

• No shift work - enjoy predictable, standard hours in the great location
• Remuneration based on salary + allowances + 12% super (salary dependent on ratings, licence and experience)

• Type qualifications & exclusion removal supported for Customer aircraft
• Overtime only for AOG (no constant paid OT expectation)

What you will do

Based at Caloundra, you'll join Omni's Rotary Wing Maintenance Team to support our extensive customer base and their aircraft

Your work will include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certification and AOG defect rectification. You'll report to the Senior Base Engineer and play a key role in delivering planned maintenance safely, efficiently, and in line with CASA requirements.

This role suits LAMEs who enjoy hands-on engineering, autonomy, and working in a team that values safety and professionalism.

You will need:

• CASA B1.3 Licence
• Strong troubleshooting capability and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Experience using Aerotrack, CAMP or similar aviation maintenance systems

Nice to have, but not essential:

• Type ratings and experience on Bell, Airbus and Kawasaki Turbine Helicopters
• Turbine Rotary or GA maintenance background
