Job summary

The Aerotech Group is seeking a B1.1/1.2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our maintenance team at Parafield Airport, SA. The role involves inspections, troubleshooting, and both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.

Ideal candidates will hold or be progressing toward CASA B1.1/1.2 licenses, with experience on smaller aircraft and knowledge of airworthiness regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold, or working towards a CASA B1.1/1.2 license.
• PT6 engine course preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation airworthiness regulations.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance documentation and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and troubleshoot the fleet.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to meet regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
• Work on-call roster with paid on-call hours and penalty rates.
• Maintain and manage relevant maintenance documentation and records.
• FIFO options available for Air Tractors experienced applicants.

B1.1/1.2 LICENCED AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (LAME)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a B1.1/1.2 Licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAME) to join our maintenance team. The current fleet includes AT-802, AT-502, Cessna 182, Cessna C208, Cessna A188 and PA-32R-300. The role is full time permanent located at Parafield Airport, SA or, for an applicant experienced on Air Tractors, FIFO options are available.

On a day to day basis you will perform inspections, troubleshoot, carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance ensuring our fleet comply with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. We undertake heavy maintenance onsite, your experience in a similar environment would be highly desirable.

If you are not yet licenced, however are actively working towards your licence or currently working in an AME position we encourage you to apply.

Our LAMEs support an on-call roster, approximately 1 weekend in 6. On-call days are paid and, if you are required to work during the period of on-call, those hours are paid at the appropriate penalty rates.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Hold, or working towards a CASA B1.1/1.2 license.

PT6 engine course preferred (provided if required).

High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge.

Experience in smaller rather than larger aircraft is highly desirable.

Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices.

Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications.
