Job summary

Skytrans in Cairns, Australia is seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to maintain Dash 8 fleet and support regional services with a strong safety, service, and integrity focus.

The role requires CASA Part-66 B1 licence, Dash 8 type ratings, line maintenance experience, HF certificate or willingness to obtain, ASIC, and a full manual driver's licence. You will work in a supportive engineering environment with dedicated training.

Qualifications

• CA SA Part-66 B1 licence required.
• Licensed on Dash 8 100/200/300.
• Previous aircraft line maintenance experience.
• Current Human Factors Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Current or obtainable ASIC.
• Full manual driver’s licence.
• Fit for work and able to meet drug and alcohol screening requirements.

AERVIVA, a Dubai-based international consultancy specializing in aviation recruitment and document management, is supporting an Australian regional airline, Skytrans, which operates Dash 8 aircraft and provides air services to communities and customers across regional Australia, with a strong focus on safety, customer service, integrity and respect.

Position: B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)
Base Location: Cairns, Australia
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• CASA Part-66 B1 Licence
• Licensed on Dash 8 100, 200 and 300
• Previous aircraft line maintenance experience
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures
• Current Human Factors Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Current or obtainable ASIC
• Full manual driver’s licence
• Fit for work and able to meet drug and alcohol screening requirements
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
