Job summary

The Missing Link, an Australian IT services and consulting organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Data Platform Consultant for a short-term client engagement in Sydney. You will lead the consolidation and migration of an existing Microsoft Access/Excel VBA application to Azure SQL Database.

You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate scope and deliver a robust, end-to-end data solution including ETL, data reconciliation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel VBA.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end data migration projects.
• Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and deliver solutions.
• Experience with Azure SQL / SQL Server and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and consolidate multiple Microsoft Access databases.
• Validate database schemas and data integrity.
• Migrate Access schemas and data to Azure SQL.
• Develop and execute ETL and data reconciliation.
• Configure ODBC connectivity.
• Update Excel VBA database connections.
• Test existing VBA macros and forms.
• Lead UAT and resolve migration issues.
• Produce technical and handover documentation.
