Job summary

CK Connect in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with hands-on Azure networking expertise to design, implement and operate enterprise networks across cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.

You will work across Azure VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, NSGs and hybrid connectivity, delivering secure, scalable connectivity and resilient security architectures for complex environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking environments.
• Strong enterprise network architecture and cloud connectivity knowledge.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 and cloud networking issues.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT and routing (BGP/OSPF).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support network infrastructure across Azure and on-premise environments.
• Configure and manage Azure VNets, subnets, route tables and NSGs.
• Implement and support Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute and site-to-site / point-to-site VPN.
• Manage hybrid connectivity between Azure, data centres and corporate locations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway and Azure Front Door.
• Support Azure Firewall, NAT Gateway and security architecture.
• Implement network segmentation, routing and secure connectivity across cloud environments.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing and network services.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2, Layer 3 and cloud networking issues.
• Monitor network performance, availability and security.
