Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join our Digital Engineering team. You will build and maintain Azure-based integrations connecting critical applications and data across the organisation.

Work involves developing Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, RESTful and SOAP APIs, data mapping, and ensuring secure, reliable data flows. The role supports hybrid working by agreement and is full-time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Strong practical experience with Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps.
• Proficiency in C#/NET development and experience working with SQL/databases.
• Experience developing and supporting API-based, system-to-system integrations, including REST APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing data-flow and production issues.
• Understanding of JSON/XML/CSV data formats and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance existing API-based integrations across the Azure environment.
• Develop and maintain Azure Function Apps using C#/.NET and Azure Logic Apps.
• Design and develop Azure integration solutions using Azure Service Bus and API Management.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs to support reliable integration between enterprise applications.
• Develop data mapping, transformation, validation and error-handling logic across integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data-flow issues, connectivity problems and defects through detailed analysis.
• Deliver BAU changes and smaller integration enhancements while maintaining reliability.
• Conduct testing of integration solutions to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
• Apply security, logging and exception-management practices across integration solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to ongoing performance improvements.
