Job summary

Emanate Technology is partnering with a federal government department to hire an experienced Azure Integration Developer in Canberra to design, build and support enterprise integration and API solutions in a modern Microsoft cloud environment.

The role focuses on Azure technologies such as Service Bus, Functions, App Services and API Management, delivering scalable, secure data exchange across critical systems while collaborating with stakeholders in agile teams.

Qualifications

• Formal IT/CS qualification or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years delivering integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Azure Service Bus, Functions, App Services and APIM.
• Strong development experience using C# and the .NET stack.
• Experience building REST APIs and enterprise integration interfaces.
• Experience across full SDLC and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Develop and maintain APIs, services and reusable integration components.
• Deliver solutions using Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure App Services and APIM.
• Design secure, scalable and resilient integration patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues.
• Contribute to design, architecture and technical documentation.
• Support deployment activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile teams and adhere to best-practice development standards.
• Assist platform modernisation and cloud adoption initiatives.
