Job summary

Monash Health in Clayton, VIC, is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to build and manage a Microsoft Azure based cloud platform for digital health solutions. You will own infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and API platform management to enable secure, scalable applications for frontline staff and patients.

Working in a small, driven team, you will implement observability, incident response, disaster recovery and governance, while collaborating with cybersecurity, product and clinical teams

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Bicep.
• Experience designing API platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security controls, including IAM, secrets management and network security.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Hands-on telemetry, monitoring and alerting experience.
• An understanding of privacy and data protection obligations for systems containing sensitive information.
• The ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and shared platform services that support secure and reliable digital applications.
• Automate infrastructure and release processes, establish platform monitoring and reliability measures.
• Support environments, incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and appropriate governance.
