Job summary

APM in Sydney, NSW, AU is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud platforms enabling secure and scalable delivery. You’ll drive automation, IaC, and DevSecOps practices across the lifecycle, with opportunities to influence platform maturity.

You will work on Azure environments, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Terraform, and monitoring tooling, with collaboration across engineering, security, and infrastructure teams in a global organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Azure or Microsoft cloud environments or systems engineering.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC, with API and automation experience.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong cloud security, governance, and monitoring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Azure cloud environments across dev/test/prod.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement IaC with Terraform and embed DevSecOps practices.
• Automate delivery to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Azure-native tools.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Contribute to platform standards, architecture, and roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and standardisation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical services.
