Job summary

DXC Technology in Adelaide seeks a CloudOps Delivery Lead to operate and optimize Azure cloud environments for a Federal Government client, ensuring compliance with PSPF, ISM, and IRAP requirements. You will lead a professional team, manage incidents, and drive cost transparency and service improvements.

The role requires AGSVA Baseline clearance, AZ-104, and progress toward AZ-305, plus hands-on experience with Azure services, IaC (Bicep/ARM), and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold AGSVA Baseline clearance and AZ-104.
• Progressing towards or holding AZ-305.
• Hands-on experience with Azure VMs, Networking, Storage, Policy, Security Center, Sentinel, Landing Zones, management groups, subscriptions, policy-as-code, and RBAC.
• IaC with Bicep/ARM, automation scripting for CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, observability, and proactive remediation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift in government/cloud contexts.
• Awareness of PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, privacy obligations, and IRAP expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to deliver world-class Azure services for a Federal Government client.
• Operate and maintain Azure cloud environments ensuring PSPF/ISM/compliance alignment.
• Implement Azure governance: policy, RBAC, cost management, tagging standards.
• Provide operational support: monitoring, incident response, remediation.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Bicep.
• Enhance observability and alerting to meet SLAs and compliance obligations.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement service improvements for reliability and security.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience planning.
• Collaborate with cyber security, governance, and assurance teams to maintain Zero Trust.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Represent DXC in client discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
