Qualifications

  • IaC with Bicep/ARM, automation scripting for CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in monitoring, incident management, observability, and proactive remediation.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift in government/cloud contexts.
  • Awareness of PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, privacy obligations, and IRAP expectations.

It is an opportunity to support high-impact public sector services, strengthen Australian data sovereignty, contribute to cyber security uplift, and improve the reliability, resilience, and efficiency of critical technology platforms.# **Position Overview****Role purpose:** We are looking for a Cloud Operations Delivery Lead with deep Microsoft Azure expertise to support secure, compliant, and resilient cloud operations for a Federal Government client. **Operating environment:** This role requires practical experience operating Azure environments in a Commonwealth context, with strong knowledge of governance, automation, operational excellence, and public sector security expectations aligned to AGSVA clearance obligations, the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight maturity uplift, privacy obligations, and Australian data sovereignty requirements. **Leadership focus:** You will lead a team responsible for operating, optimising, and continuously improving Azure services that support critical Federal Government outcomes.
