Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help deliver Azure infrastructure and cloud services within a secure, governed enterprise environment. You will work on the ELZ platform, leverage IaC with Terraform, AzureRM/AzAPI, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins and Azure DevOps to deliver production-ready environments.

The role requires 5+ years in Azure, Kubernetes, GitOps or ArgoCD, and strong collaboration with Agile teams to plan, build and support cloud delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of Azure infrastructure delivery in enterprise environments.
Hands-on with IaC and DevOps automation (Terraform, AzureRM/AzAPI).
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native delivery practices.
Scripting in Bash/Python/JS or similar.

Responsibilities

Deliver Azure infrastructure and cloud services in secure, governed enterprise environments.
Implement IaC and DevOps automation using Terraform, AzureRM/AzAPI, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with project teams to design, build, and operate scalable cloud environments.
Coach others, work in Agile delivery models, and promote best practices.
