Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a contract role in Melbourne. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform-based cloud infrastructure, and deploy apps across Azure services.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure platform reliability, security, and observability using Azure Monitor, New Relic, Key Vault, and APIM, and automate tasks with PowerShell.

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation.
Proficient with Azure services and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure seamless integration and support.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AzureDevOps and Bitbucket.
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure leveraging Terraform for automation and scalability.
Deploy and manage applications across Azure Spring Apps, Azure Container Apps, and Azure App Services.
Configure and maintain Azure API Management (APIM), Key Vault, and Azure Application Gateway for secure operations.
Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and New Relic.
Automate operational tasks and workflows using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
Partner with development and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues across environments.
Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
