Job summary

Softtest Pays Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Architect / Technical Lead to modernise FullCAM into a scalable Azure cloud-native platform. The role bridges architecture and delivery, providing hands-on technical leadership across C#, .NET, Python, Angular and data pipelines.

You will work under the Solution Architect to translate high-level designs into detailed implementable solutions, guiding the engineering team to produce secure, maintainable code and robust deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience translating architecture into concrete designs.
• Proven ability to implement cloud-native solutions on Azure.
• Hands-on leadership of development teams and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Validate and refine designs derived from Solution Architect direction.
• Translate high-level architecture into detailed Azure-based designs.
• Lead by example with hands-on implementation across services.
• Ensure artefacts are practical, secure and optimised for the cloud platform.
• Provide technical input on design decisions and feasibility.
• Mentor and guide the development team through reviews and coaching.
• Support integration of legacy C++ components into modern architectures.
• Collaborate on data pipelines and analytics workflows aligned with architecture.
