Amazon Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer for AWS Security Incident Response to join a team that protects AWS Customers. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and applying security knowledge to detect and mitigate threats at scale using AWS services.

A government clearance requirement and on-call duties reflect the sensitive nature of the work. You will work with security engineers and partner teams to improve response effectiveness, contribute to security automation, and communicate

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience with web protocols, security attacks and remediation.
• Knowledge of system, network and OS.
• Experience writing code or scripts with some assistance.
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to threat findings indicating unauthorized activity.
• Identify, evaluate and communicate threats, risks and vulnerabilities and propose remediation.
• Contribute to development of security automation and posture improvements.
• Track and report effectiveness of detective controls (e.g., GuardDuty) and related products.
• On-call support including weekends.
