SYNECHRON AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer in Melbourne to design, build, and support cloud‑native solutions using AWS Lambda and other AWS services. You’ll drive DevOps practices, automation, and secure operations across the delivery lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands‑on development, serverless architectures, and collaboration with architecture and operations teams to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying serverless architectures on AWS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
• Strong scripting in Python, Node.js, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless apps using AWS Lambda.
• Build and support cloud‑based solutions with API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Develop automation scripts and application code in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve operations.
• Collaborate with dev, architecture, and ops teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Apply security best practices, access controls, logging, and compliance within AWS.
