Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain serverless apps using AWS Lambda.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve operations.
  • Collaborate with dev, architecture, and ops teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in AWS serverless technologies, particularly AWS Lambda, along with software development and automation expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud‑native solutions while implementing DevOps best practices across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Build and support cloud‑based solutions leveraging AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, IAM, and EventBridge.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and application code using Python, Node.js, or Java.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.
  • Implement security best practices, access controls, logging, and compliance standards within AWS environments.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Hands‑on expertise in AWS Lambda development and deployment.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Node.js, Java, or C#.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control systems (Git).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and event‑driven systems.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes/EKS and modern cloud‑native application patterns.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands‑on engineer with a strong AWS + Lambda + coding background, capable of developing and supporting serverless applications while driving DevOps automation and cloud engineering best practices across the delivery lifecycle.
