Pyramid Global Technologies Limited in Melbourne, Australia, seeks a Senior System Engineer who can design, implement and operate cloud-native architectures. You will apply software-defined infrastructure concepts, manage Kubernetes-based workloads, and drive automation across CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Senior System Engineer with proven track record in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud native application design and rationale.
• Solid knowledge of software defined infrastructure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with production workloads.
• Passion for automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline).
• Familiarity with OAuth concepts.
• Experience in Go, Java, or any high-level language.
• Understanding of AWS is beneficial.
• Awareness of Kong API Gateway or other API gateways is a plus.
• Experience with Consul, Vault, Logstash, Kafka or service meshes is a plus.

Must Have:

• Strong track record in a Senior System Engineering capacity
• Sound understanding of cloud native application principles and the whys behind them
• Sound understanding of software defined infrastructure
• Sound understanding of Kubernetes and production experience in managing applications would be
• A passion for automation and CI/CD (Jenkins, Teamcity, AWS Code pipeline)
• Exposure to OAuth
• Experience in GO / Java / Any high level language
• An understanding of AWS would be highly beneficial but not essential
• An understanding of Kong API Gateway or any API Gateway would be highly beneficial but not essential
• Experience with Consul / Vault / Logstash/ Kafka / Service Mesh would be a plus
