TRC Group is seeking an AWS Engineering Lead in Sydney to own enterprise cloud solutions. You will guide architectures, implement landing zones, and drive IaC across Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation while mentoring engineers.

The role involves direct client engagement and delivery governance in a fast‑paced consulting environment. Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of AWS/cloud experience, strong Python/CI/CD skills, and proven leadership capabilities to deliver secure, scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of AWS/cloud engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on AWS architecture and delivery capability.
• Experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Understanding landing zones, networking, IAM and multi-account architecture.
• Experience with Python, automation, CI/CD and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience guiding engineers or leading technical delivery workstreams.
• Excellent communication with enterprise clients.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AWS engineering solutions.
• Architect secure multi-account AWS environments, landing zones and cloud foundations.
• Work with AWS Control Tower, Organizations, IAM, networking and security guardrails.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Guide the development of EKS/ECS, serverless and cloud-native application platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and engineering direction.
• Work directly with client stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Take ownership of technical quality, delivery outcomes and engineering standards.
