A leading IT consultancy in Sydney is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build scalable serverless applications on AWS with expertise in Next.js. The ideal candidate has a solid background in AWS serverless APIs, TypeScript, and some knowledge of DynamoDB. This mid-senior level contract role offers a flexible work environment with two days on-site, aiming to enhance productivity and innovation in IT solutions.

Formación

• Hands-on skills and experience with Next.JS.
• Strong knowledge & experience with TypeScript.
• Some experience with DynamoDB would be advantageous.

• Build scalable, serverless applications on AWS using Next.js.
• Develop serverless APIs with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.
• Design and build applications using various AWS services.
• Maintain UI consistency with established design systems.

About the Role

• Build scalable, serverless applications on AWS with expertise in Next.js, AWS-native APIs, and serverless architectures to design enterprise-level systems.
• Serverless API Development (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Designing and building applications using AWS services.
• Working with established design systems and maintaining UI consistency.

About You

• Must have SME knowledge & experience with AWS serverless stack APIs.
• Hands‑on skills and experience with Next.JS.
• Strong knowledge & experience with TypeScript.
• Some experience with DynamoDB would be advantageous (not essential).
