CareCone Group is seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer in Sydney to design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS environments. You will improve deployment processes, reliability, and security while ensuring scalability and governance.

Expect to work across Dev, QA, and operations teams, manage IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD tools, and contribute to disaster recovery and security enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS tools).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, ECS, Fargate).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring security and scalability across AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, or Fargate.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and network security controls.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS DevOps tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional, SysOps Administrator).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and landing zones.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.

Security Clearance (Preferred/Required)

• Active Baseline, NV1, or NV2 Security Clearance is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
