Evolution Specialists seeks a Senior Developer to build scalable serverless applications on AWS, focusing on both front-end and back-end using Next.js and TypeScript. You will design secure, cost-effective cloud architectures, implement monitoring, and own end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CI/CD pipelines. Australian work rights are mandatory and a hybrid Sydney-based setup is possible.

Senior Developer (Full Stack, AWS and Devops Engineers)

Are you passionate about cloud technologies and want to be at the forefront of digital transformation? We are seeking talented and experienced Senior Developers / Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in building scalable, serverless applications on AWS.

ROLE 1 - FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Develop and build applications using AWS Lambda for both front and backend. (creation of Lambda's is must to have experience)

Experience in rolling out scalable API's in serverless environments.

Expertise in Next.js, AWS-native APIs, and serverless architectures, aligning to design systems

Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.

Serverless API Development: High proficiency with serverless stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).

Ensure the security and compliance of the AWS environment by implementing access controls, encryption, and monitoring.

Proficient in building applications with Next.js. (Next.JS framework is used for front end development).

Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources, identifying bottlenecks and making recommendations for improvement.

Experience working with established design systems and maintaining UI consistency.

Proven experience at a senior level with ownership of end-to-end delivery in cloud environments.

AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing systems using AWS services.

Monitoring & Alerting: Proven ability to configure and connect logs, metrics, and errors into centralized monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent).

Serverless & Compute Services: High proficiency with serverless and compute stacks (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, etc.).

System Reliability: Experience in ensuring fault tolerance, scalability, and high availability in AWS architectures.

Experience in working in TypeScript in AWS environments

Experience in writing scripts and and code in a variety ofopen-sourcetechnologies– includingInfrastructure as Codescripting languages like CloudFormation, CDKetc.

Proficient with VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, Lambda etc

Experience working with service management,networkingand infrastructure.

AWS Securityservices(Security Lake,Security Hub,WAF, Shield,Firewall Manager, Network Firewall,CloudFront, API Gateway)

Proficient in CICD tools and stacks built with tools likeAWS CodePipeline,CodeBuild, GitHub actions

Hands-on experience in designing and creating infrastructure architecture documents as part of a solution design team

Independent Contributor: Comfortable leading their own work with minimal supervision.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in AWS environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.

Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
