Job summary

Medibank Private Limited in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect on a 6-month day-rate contract at 1,200 AUD per day, including super. Based in Melbourne, you will work across high-impact cloud initiatives, including large-scale migration and AWS landing zone modernization.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, proven delivery in complex enterprise environments, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Significant experience designing AWS cloud architectures.
Led or supported enterprise cloud migration programs.
Strong knowledge of AWS services across networking, security, identity, compute, storage, containers, observability and resilience.
Experience developing migration strategies and transitional architectures.
Understanding of security, compliance and governance in cloud environments.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and modern cloud delivery practices.
Experience in regulated industries; AWS certifications viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

Shape and lead large-scale cloud transformation programs on AWS.
Deliver cloud migration and modernization initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
Collaborate with architecture teams and senior stakeholders to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
Participate in weekly Melbourne office attendance as required under a hybrid model.
