Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking a Cloud Engineer – AI & Data in Melbourne to design, deploy and optimise cloud environments supporting data, analytics and AI/ML workloads. You will work with AWS-centric services and IaC practices to deliver secure, scalable and cost-efficient platforms.

You will collaborate with Data, AI and Technology teams, applying governance and security standards while advancing automation, monitoring and continuous improvement across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Cloud Engineer experience with strong AWS expertise.
• Proven ability to design and deploy cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience supporting data, analytics and AI/ML workloads in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar tools.
• Automate cloud provisioning, deployment and operational processes.
• Continuously evaluate and implement emerging cloud capabilities and managed services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable cloud solutions.
