Join AECOM in Australia to contribute to engineering designs for airport infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and related systems. You will develop high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and data-rich deliverables, leveraging automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Australia and New Zealand, supporting BIM workflows in line with ISO 19650 standards and BEPs, while managing models and project documentation.
“We are a company that values diversity, inclusiveness, and innovative thinking.”
Are you ready to join a team of talented engineers and help shape the future of airports?
Our ANZ Aviation Airside Infrastructure team is passionate about delivering innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for airports of all sizes, from major commercial hubs and greenfield developments to general aviation airfields and defence facilities.
Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll contribute to projects across the entire lifecycle, from master planning and feasibility studies through to preliminary and detailed design, construction, and handover. Our team partners with a diverse range of clients across the public and private sectors, including airport investors, airport operators, and major contractors.
We deliver complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects from concept through to operation, providing engineering, analytical, and strategic expertise at every stage. Whether supporting planning, design, or delivery, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful aviation infrastructure projects that create lasting value for our clients and communities.
At AECOM, your growth matters. Every team member is supported by a development plan that provides a clear pathway for professional development and career progression. You'll also have access to technical practice networks, AECOM University, and a range of learning opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.
And, of course, you'll enjoy a range of core and personalised benefits designed to support your wellbeing and future. With our flexible hybrid working model, volunteering days, and programs tailored to your lifestyle, you'll be empowered to thrive both professionally and personally.
If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Join our team, where we don't just design airports, we connect cities, regions and counties to drive economic growth, and build legacies for future generations.
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities, additional health or mental health needs, and/or neurodiverse conditions. If you require any adjustments during the hiring process, please let us know.
Applications are reviewed as they come in.
To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
