Job summary

dnata catering at Canberra Airport is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to support aviation catering operations. Join a dynamic team delivering exceptional service and ensuring safe, timely deliveries across flights.

You will handle short-distance driving, vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and coordination with cabin crew to service aircraft. A National Police Check is required and 38 hours per week are offered in a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MR or HR driver's license.
• Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
• Safety-first mindset and awareness of surroundings.
• Flexibility to work around flight schedules.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Neat and tidy presentation.
• Clear National Police Check required.
• Availability to work 38 hours per week (full-time).

Responsibilities

• Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including refuelling.
• Safely load and unload catering, carts and ovens, following up on discrepancies.
• Guide and position trucks in line with policies.
• Coordinate with airline cabin crew for servicing and handover.
• Coordinate with dispatch on aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
• Administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties.
