Job summary

Aerotest Pty Ltd (Plane Support) in Central Queensland is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Components & Overhaul) to support repair, overhaul, testing and manufacturing of aircraft components.

The role is workshop-based, focused on landing gear and hydraulic systems, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, documentation and quality. Based in Yeppoon with potential future move to Rockhampton as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification or equivalent with CASA/CAA recognition.
• Strong hands-on maintenance, repair, overhaul and testing skills in an aviation workshop.
• Excellent understanding of maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft component repair and overhaul activities, including landing gear and hydraulic systems.
• Disassembly, inspection, defect identification and reassembly of components.
• Perform functional testing in accordance with approved data and documentation.
• Support manufacture and assembly of aircraft components and ensure compliance with Part 21G/21K.
