Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Cargo Flight Clerk to support operations at Sydney International Airport T1 on a permanent part-time basis (min 26 hours per week). The role involves preparing cargo documentation and airway bills and coordinating freight movements to meet schedules.

You will work with limited supervision, maintain safety standards, and liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with import/export procedures and airline requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and handling inquiries.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures.
• Dangerous goods awareness certificate.
• Familiarity with airline systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety culture within the workplace and OH&S awareness.
• Process cargo documentation and airway bills.
• Coordinate the movement of international and domestic freight to meet schedules.
• Prepare invoices and reconcile banking charges.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Complete all documentation, administration and system input relating to exports and imports.
• Carry out general office duties and reporting.
• Respond to customer service functions and provide product information.
• Complete daily work schedules and allocate tasks to meet objectives.
• Complete AVI check sheets and process.
