Job summary

AECOM Brisbane is seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure BIM Engineer to contribute to airport projects across the lifecycle, from planning through to handover. You will develop high-quality 3D models and drawings, manage digital deliverables in ProjectWise and ACC, and support BIM workflows in line with ISO 19650.

Qualifications

• Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D capability (corridors, surfaces, pipe networks, grading, data shortcuts) and experience on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes.
• Experience using ProjectWise, BIM 360 / ACC, and Navisworks Manage.
• Experience with Dynamo, Python, or Civil 3D automation tools.
• Experience in design, planning and construction support of civil engineering projects; airport environment desirable.
• Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards and recommended practices (CASA, ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of airport engineering projects across civil and defence aviation.
• Develop high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and data-rich deliverables with automation to improve efficiency.
• Manage digital models and project documentation within ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud, supporting BIM workflows per ISO 19650.
• Take ownership of deliverables, align with programmes, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ANZ and participate in client discussions.
• Perform model validation, coordination, and clash detection, maintaining QA processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of digital delivery standards and templates.
