Job summary

anzuk Education is partnering with an independent early childhood provider to appoint an Area Manager to support its growing portfolio of services across NSW. You will work closely with Centre Directors, mentoring teams and overseeing operational performance to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This hands-on leadership role offers genuine autonomy, collaboration with owners, and the chance to influence systems, culture and performance across multiple services in NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience as Area Manager or senior leader in early childhood settings.
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and NQS.
• Experience mentoring Centre Directors and developing strong teams.
• Confidence managing compliance, staffing, budgets and occupancy.
• Diploma/Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check and driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to travel regularly between services.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Centre Directors and leadership teams.
• Oversee compliance with the NQF, NQS and National Regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement and prepare services for Assessment and Rating.
• Support occupancy growth, budgets, staffing and operational performance.
• Establish effective systems, policies and procedures.
• Build positive team cultures and staff development.
• Maintain relationships with families, educators and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with owners to support long-term service success.
