Job summary

Anzuk Education is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead a long day care service in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. You will supervise a passionate team, drive enrolments and occupancy, and nurture strong relationships with families and the community.

The role balances operational excellence with community engagement, staff development and centre growth, offering an opportunity to influence culture and service quality across the centre.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Experience as Centre Director or Assistant Director, or ready for the next step.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Genuine passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the service.
• Drive occupancy growth and maintaining enrolment numbers.
• Build meaningful relationships with families and the local community.
• Develop and mentor a team of passionate educators.
• Create a positive, engaging, and collaborative workplace culture.
• Support high-quality educational programs and practice.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
• Manage family tours, enrolment enquiries, and parent engagement initiatives.
• Work strategically to increase the centre’s presence within the local community.
