Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Tasmania seeks a Site Engineer to join our team as we grow into 2027. You will work on a range of infrastructure projects, take ownership of construction programs, coordinate site activities, and manage procurement with autonomy to influence project outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and strong organisational and communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage and maintain great relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
• Exposure to the coordination of site activities and costs forecasts.
• Procurement of plant, equipment, materials and services.
• Preparation of quality control documentation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of project materials and support in the management of key Subcontractors.
• Lead initiatives in site safety, site quality, and site environmental compliance.
• Develop and maintain construction programs and look aheads to support internal and external communication.
• Productivity and cost tracking to support the management and communication of milestones.
• Financial management from preparation, review and processing of purchase orders and subcontractor progress claim review and approval.
