Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Tasmania is seeking an enthusiastic Safety Advisor to join our Southern Region Construction team in a permanent role, based from the Cambridge office. You’ll support the implementation of Living Safely, mentor project teams, and help deliver safe, compliant and efficient outcomes across Tasmanian and Victorian projects, with opportunities for site-based work.

Qualifications

Certificate IV OH&S required as a minimum.
Experience in civil construction or high‑risk environments preferred.
Current and valid driver licence essential.
Strong safety focus and ability to educate others on risk awareness.
Understanding of incident causation and investigation methodologies.
Excellent communication and relationship-building across levels.

Responsibilities

Support project H&S personnel with implementation of safety procedures, policies and processes.
Develop and maintain reports on hazard trends and improvement opportunities.
Educate teams to use safety data systems effectively.
Collect data and prepare regular Safety Monthly Reports.
Contribute to audits, site inspections and monitoring activities.
Support projects with incident investigation and share learnings.
Create and deliver toolbox talks, safety alerts and campaigns.
