Job summary

Ausloans Finance Group Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast seeks a mid-to-senior Compliance and Audit Officer to lead the risk and compliance function. You will manage escalated complaints through IDR, mentor juniors, and drive internal audits and governance activities in a fast-moving, technology-enabled financial services environment.

You will own policies, documentation and reporting, coordinate monitoring programs and engage with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, audit, risk, governance or quality assurance.
• Experience managing complex/escalated client complaints through IDR/EDR processes.
• Mentoring/junior guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage escalated complaints via IDR and oversee resolution.
• Lead compliance and internal audit activities across the business.
• Maintain compliance registers, action plans and risk escalation.
• Review and update policies, procedures and governance documentation.
• Coordinate monthly compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare audit working papers and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support Compliance Committee meetings and governance activities.
• Drive regulatory monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
