Job summary

JPS Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a global lighting brand, covering NSW's North Coast & Hunter Region. You will own the territory, grow established relationships with wholesalers, contractors and end users, and manage the sales pipeline from opportunity to order.

You’ll work autonomously in a relationship-led role with a negotiable package around $100,000+ super + car allowance or a company car plus bonus. This is a senior, strategic sales position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated B2B sales, business development or account management experience.
• Proven track record of developing long-term customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
• Lighting industry or electrical wholesale experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue within established relationships.
• Building new relationships with wholesalers, contractors, end users and prospects.
• Managing your sales pipeline from initial opportunity through to order placement.
• Responding to quotation requests and following opportunities through.
• Working closely with the State Manager on market opportunities and future product development.
