Job summary

Lightforce Group, a premium Australian lighting brand, is seeking a Commercially driven Business Development Manager based in Adelaide. You will own the SA region and represent the Lightforce Lighting Series across SA, WA, VIC, TAS, NT and parts of QLD, building strong relationships and delivering sustainable sales growth.

You will manage a significant portfolio, develop strategic territory plans, and work with Sales, Marketing and internal teams to convert opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical, industrial, manufacturing or B2B sales environment.
• A proven ability to manage a large portfolio and develop strategic territory plans.
• A strong track record of building customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• A commercially minded approach, with the ability to understand customer needs and convert opportunities into results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver engaging face-to-face and online training.
• The ability to translate technical information into clear, practical concepts for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s licence and the availability to undertake extensive interstate and intrastate travel.
• An interest in, or understanding of, the applications of the products you will be selling is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the regions through strategic planning, customer engagement and proactive business development.
• Develop new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with our existing customer base.
• Achieve sales objectives and targets and contribute to the continued growth of the Lightforce Lighting Series.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing and other internal teams to identify, develop and convert opportunities.
• Represent our brands in the market, including attending trade shows, events and other industry forums.
• Maintain accurate CRM information and communicate activities, opportunities and performance.
• Bring market insight back into the business, contributing to product, service and performance improvement.
