Placed Recruitment Hospitality Jobs in the Blue Mountains is seeking a Hands-On Head Chef to lead a seasonal, produce-driven kitchen covering dining and events. You will own menus, lead a small team and drive standards and performance.

The role demands strong leadership, menu development, cost control and the ability to deliver consistent quality while maintaining commercial results. NSW regional venue with autonomy and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Strong Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership experience.
• Experience in menu development and recipe costing.
• Proven ability to manage food and labour costs.
• Experience with kitchen P&L performance.
• Capable of leading a kitchen team and kitchen operations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee complete kitchen operation including food quality and menu development.
• Manage food cost, labour, rostering, stock control and procurement.
• Ensure food safety, kitchen hygiene and compliance.
• Work with front of house to ensure smooth service.
• Document, cost and follow recipes with consistent standards.
